>Day 12 This Butternut Squash Soup is Delish!

>V8 has a great butternut squash soup in a carton. A serving (1 cup) is 80 calories; and there are roughly two servings per container. Each serving gives you a day’s worth of recommended veggies! I had a serving of that plus a light salad for dinner.  Dessert? Ah some yummy yogurt. Earlier today I had a fruit smoothie before my intense 45 minute workout (a true butt kicker in every sense); then I snacked on grapes, and around 5pm… a banana.

Yes, this evening I will be sweating, grunting, and grimacing through my second workout. Maybe I will share a picture. Speaking of pictures, maybe I should also share my before, mid, and after pictures so everyone can see how my body and “vibe” has transitioned. Even on my “rough” days, my face isn’t showing signs of stress like it did two weeks ago. I will say that my body is naturally trying to relax by midnight. I have to force myself to stay awake beyond 1am. Oddly enough, I’m also more apt to get a full 8-9 hours of sleep, instead of my usual 3-5 hours. I will have to find a way to make necessary adjustments when my classes resume in a few weeks.

I can’t believe how much my life has changed in 12 days! What a difference taking time focusing on “self” can mean to your wellbeing…mind, body, and soul!
