>First let me say that when you fast on brown rice you need to explore various salt-free seasonings such as Cayenne Pepper, Pepper, and Curry Powder, which is what I have on tonight’s meal…not all three, although I would try it. No, tonight I have pepper, curry powder and a pinch of sea salt. It is a nice twist as I begin to wrap up this phase of my fast.
Yesterday I weighed myself and believed I had only lost three pounds, which was good news; but today something told me to weigh myself again, and guess what? I have actually lost roughly four to five pounds in 7 days. Now that sounds even better than three doesn’t it? What is crazy is that this is water weight.
My workout today was great. Very intense. I have a good soreness and my muscles are thriving off of the workload. It is important to work out when fasting (light to moderate intensity) so that you don’t lose muscle while your body is flushing out trapped water, fat, and other junk. Remember the catch-phrase “if you don’t use it you will lose it”…so workout at least 30 minutes to keep those muscles happy!
